The role Reporting to the Director, Reform Office you will oversee, manage, and carry out state-wide reform projects and/or project activities to enable the timely and effective delivery of complex and sensitive state-wide initiatives that relate to Queensland Health's reform agenda. You will be required to use evidence-based improvement methodologies to support the planning and implementation of best practice reform programs and initiatives, as well as analyse data, policy, and information to support reform activities, monitoring and evaluation of programs and initiatives.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for providing high level business expertise leadership, support and guidance to team members, and other staff internal and external to the work.
The successful personTo be successful in this role you will have a comprehensive understanding and breadth of experience in understanding the whole health system, including the complex interrelationships within the government, non-government and private sectors, cross sector government and non-government and primary and community care. You will have prior demonstrated experience in leading, managing and implementing complex system-wide and/or state-wide projects that are time-critical and achieve expected deliverables as well as high level negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, and effective written communication skills, including ability to compile reports, briefings, project documentation, discussion papers and submissions.
In addition to this, you will have the proven ability to communicate with influence, interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to cultivate productive working relationships and networks.
