The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.
The Statutory Appointments team manages the appointment process for National Health Practitioner boards, committees and panels in the National Scheme. Over 600 appointments/reappointments may be made in any one year. Reporting to the Manager, Statutory Appointments, this role provides key program support for statutory appointment campaigns and project initiatives.

**About you**

**In this role you will**:
- Coordinate and assist in managing recruitment activities related to statutory appointments, in compliance with legislation and policy, to ensure timely and effective appointments.
- In conjunction with the Senior Statutory Appointments Advisor, ensure probity requirements are fulfilled in relation to the appointment of Board, Committee and panel members, and ensure that appropriate process is followed in the event of issues arising.
- Coordinate selection advisory panels and guide panel members through the selection process.
- Previous experience in recruitment or administrative and/or statutory appointment processes, including the use of recruitment systems is highly desirable
- Exemplary communication skills - both written and verbal with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders
- Collaborative and supportive approach with the ability to interact with a number of stakeholders in all levels of AHPRA
- Exceptional time management skills - you will be managing multiple tasks and priorities whilst ensuring quality outcomes
