
Statutory Appointments Specialist

This role involves delivering key program support for statutory appointment campaigns and initiatives within the Australian health regulatory sector.
The sector works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement a national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to safeguard public well-being by ensuring that only registered health practitioners possess the necessary skills, qualifications, and knowledge to provide safe care.
- Coordinate recruitment activities related to statutory appointments.
- Ensure probity requirements are met in relation to the appointment of Board, Committee, and panel members in conjunction with the Senior Statutory Appointments Specialist.
- Coordinate selection advisory panels and guide panel members through the selection process.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with the ability to work autonomously, embodying values of respect, integrity, collaboration, and achievement. They will possess excellent communication and time management skills, with experience in recruitment or administrative and/or statutory appointment processes.
Key Responsibilities:

- Recruitment Activities: Coordinate recruitment activities related to statutory appointments.

Requirements:
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas effectively.
- Time Management: Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Administrative Experience: Experience in recruitment or administrative and/or statutory appointment processes.
