
Patient Services Centre Manager

In this Full-time role, based in Box Hill, you will be responsible for the end to end process of patient admission and ensure this is managed effectively and efficiently. You will be part of the Patient Services team and report to the Operations Manager.

- Leading and modelling an environment that is focused on customer service, clinical care and patient experience.
- Lead and manage a process of continuous improvement.
- Actively lead and participate in all components of the quality improvement and accreditation cycle.
Effective management of:
- Patient bookings;
- Theatre bookings
- Patient Liaison and communication;
- Health fund checks and payment;
- Day of Surgery pre-intake and intake;
- Doctor's Room Liaison
- Oversee and management the Health Fund Insurance Checks and ensuring patient billing is accurate and within agreed margins.
- Ensure budget is managed effectively and to agreed outcomes.
- Liaise with the finance team to resolve financial issues and ensure billing efficiency.

You will be a born leader, keen to work collaboratively with all stakeholders that impact the patient's journey at Epworth Eastern. You will need to be a compassionate and a strategic thinker with a focus on positive patient experience. You will have a "can do" attitude and a solutions focused approach with a proven track record in meeting KPIs.
You will have:
- Previous and recent hospital administration experience
- Evidence of a commitment to patient/customer service, clinical governance and quality improvement
- Positive role model to staff in terms of commitment to the delivery of high quality patient care and patient experience
