Overview (Text Only): The Employee Relations & HR Business Partner supports specific client groups across our corporate and field businesses in executing local and Global people strategies Responsibilities:
**Employee Relations & Industrial Relations**
- Manage day-to-day aspects of employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievance management, and workplace investigations.
- Support managers through investigation and disciplinary processes, ensuring they are conducted fairly and in compliance with regulations and policies.
- Manage the performance management process to drive high performance and accountability.
- Contribute to policy development and procedure improvement in employment relations.
- Represent the company in matters before the Fair Work Commission and other relevant bodies, if needed.

**Business Partnering**
- Assist relevant client groups in executing local and global strategies by working closely with Field Leadership, Store Managers, Corporate team, and the APAC HR team, to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity & retention.
- Develop strong stakeholder relationships across the Foot Locker leadership teams and with other key partners within the business.
- Support the business across the entire employee lifecycle.

**Recruitment & Onboarding**
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team and Hiring Managers on recruitment, workforce planning activities, onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Managing onboarding, guiding new hires through procedures, completing documentation, and conducting orientations.

**Talent Management**
- Identify L&D needs for relevant client groups.
- Working closely with the local, global HR teams and external providers, manage the development and delivery of L&D programs for corporate and field teams, where appropriate.
- Assess company culture, identify gaps in areas such as leadership, teamwork, communication, and recognition, and develop strategies to address these issues in order to foster employee engagement.

**HR Administration**
- Partner with and support the APAC HR Services team on all operational and administrative matters.
- Contribute to policy development and procedure improvement.

**Work Health & Safety**
- Partner with the HR Services team to support WHS and risk management policies and strategies for corporate and field teams.

**Projects**
- Support and deliver engagement, wellness, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Additional special projects and specific tasks may also be required on an ad hoc basis, depending on the needs of the business and as requested by Management.

Qualifications:

- 4-7 years HR experience
- Experienced in employee relations and business partnering, having navigated employment-related matters within a matrix organization
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices in Australia and New Zealand
- Experience working in retail
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- A proactive and hands-on approach
