**Role Summary**:
The Manager, Portfolio Commercial & Controls is a newly created opportunity in our Renewable Delivery team based at our Perth CBD office.
The purpose of the role is to drive the portfolio of renewable projects in astutely managing its contract partnerships and controlling risks to schedule, cost, contract management and resourcing.
**Key responsibilities of the role include**:
- Plan Synergy's portfolio procurement and contracting strategy in consultation with Future Energy leaders, Renewables Development and Supply Chain teams
- Maintain a forecast plan of owner's team resources required for successful delivery of the portfolio of projects in development and execution.
- Liaise with project managers, Synergy support services and external service providers to communicate resource plan and recommend pathways to implement
- Build, monitor and report on portfolio-wide KPIs in consultation with each major project team
- Build and maintain project controls resources to support major project teams in monitoring and reporting on project KPIs and risks during execution phase
**What you'll bring**:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in major project delivery within an industrial construction environment, managing contracts, budgets and schedules
- Track record of commercial and contract management and administration, successfully delivering projects with capital expenditure above AUD $100 million
- Track record of managing schedule and budget on successfully delivered major projects
- Experience with team building and development of project delivery framework
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Legal or related field. Post graduate qualifications in specialised area or related commercial discipline (i.e. MBA / project management).
