An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warranty Advisor to join our Quality & Service Division in a max term role for 12 months.
The Quality & Service Division handles the planning, coordination, and execution of all customer-related activities. This includes customer support, warranty management, the service value chain, in-field product performance, customer quality engineering, and dealer operations. Their goal is to retain customers for life by providing optimized services and products, expanding the market, supporting profitability objectives, and enhancing the Toyota and Lexus brands.
The Warranty Help Desk (WHD) Team primarily supports Dealer Warranty Advisors within the Toyota and Lexus networks by assisting with warranty claims. They also contribute to the Dealer Fix It Right (FIR) and Early Detection, Early Resolution (EDER) strategies and activities for Technical Service Operations. Additionally, the Warranty Advisor plays a role in supporting project activities for the WHD team.
This role is based in Altona North, based primarily onsite with some flexibility.
How you'll make an impact- Assist with the daily operations of the Warranty Help Desk Team and supports the Dealer network by providing help with claim compilation, submission, and escalations through the Warranty Support System (Salesforce) and phone. Additionally, as a member of the WHD Team, manages Toyota claim rejections and responses related to cost recovery.- Assist in the development of the Salesforce system by enhancing Warranty Support System case management and reporting capabilities.- Develop Warranty Bulletins to assist the Dealer network with process guidance. Provide support to technical teams by creating Warranty Claim Instructions for Technical Bulletins.- Support the review and update of Policies and Toyota & Lexus Warranty Policies and Procedures manual (WPPM).- Help maintain reporting systems to ensure the business receives accurate and timely information for effective planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Your attributes - If you've got one or more, we'd love to hear from you- Automotive trade qualification or experience working in a warranty administration or advisor role.- Automotive industry experience in roles covering both technical matters and customer management.- Toyota product experience preferred.- Proven ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and negotiate outcomes.- Strong understanding of the automotive industry and Dealer networks.- Understanding of the business and its commercial drivers.- Advanced skills in utilising the Microsoft Office Suite with SAP and Salesforce experience highly regarded.
