Junior Allocations

Due to internal promotions, we have an exciting new role in our Merchandise team for an analytical and enthusiastic individual to work in a joint junior role within our growing business. In this unique role of Junior Allocator/Buyers Assistant, you will join our collaborative and dynamic Merchandising team located in our head offices in Abbotsford.
Reporting to the Senior Buyer of our Classic brand, you will be responsible for the allocations and replenishment to all stores across Australia; ensuring we have the right stock, in the right store, at the right time for our customers. As well as this you will also add your administrative skills to support our Senior Buyers and learn the role of a Buyers Assistant. This is a unique hybrid-role that would suit a driven graduate looking for their first step into footwear.
What Will Your Day Look Like
- You will work closely with the planning team to allocate and replenish stock
- Facilitating the allocation & replenishment of merchandise by SKU;
- Coordinating inter-store transfers of merchandise
- Analysing product flow & sales trends to accurately forecast future product needs
- Ensuring data integrity in data systems
- Ensuring stores are at the forefront of all activity in relation to merchandising & stock allocation processes; and
- Assist the Senior Buyer with support across all administrative duties.
- Registering, attributing, and barcoding items
- Maintenance of range plans
- Management of product, pricing, delivery, and invoicing queries
- Review of EDM and marketing content
- Management of Samples
- Management of images and copy on Websites
- Assisting the Planner in the pre-season planning process & grid quantifications using quantitative & qualitative information

**About You**:
If you have a passion for retail, a flair for numbers, an analytical mind with excellent attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities this is the perfect role to grow your career We would love to see experience in a retail environment, but this is not mandatory.

**Ideally you will have**:

- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a passion for data;
- Sound knowledge of footwear & fashion distribution & supply principles.
- Have the ability to priorities and plan your day effectively
- Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
- A high level of attention to detail.
