Merchandise Planner Role

We are currently searching for a Merchandise Planner/Allocator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be building a team of collaborative entrepreneurs, working towards a shared vision and open culture. Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock Allocation: Allocating weekly collections, ensuring the right stock is in the right store to maximise sales and productivity of inventory.
  • Inventory Management: Maintaining correct min levels across the store network in line with capacity and performance.
  • Purchase Orders: Raising seasonal purchase orders for seasonal collections, collaborating with the buying team to ensure accuracy.
  • Data Analysis: Building store and customer profiling data to make recommendations for store ranging and allocations.
  • Forecasting: Effective planning and analysis including in-season and post season analysis.
  • Production Reorders: Maintaining Core forecasting (monthly), alongside buying team, strategically considering Online and In Store assortment. Providing production with reorders.
  • Product Curve Analysis: Responsible for providing size curve analysis for new and re-orders.
  • Buyer Support: Supporting buying with product analysis including, sell thru, productivity, re-order suggestions.
  • Delivery Dates: Ensuring delivery dates are up to date on system by subcategory to ensure forward intake is accurate for Financial Plan.
  • Trade Recommendations: Analyzing and providing allocation recommendations to trade the business.
  • B&M Options: Supporting Merchandise Planners to ensure B&M options in stores are at optimum capacity at all times (adhering to Brand Rules).
  • Product Life Cycle: Accountable for product life cycle including consolidation, product movement, transfers and exit strategy (markdown) to maximise group KPIs through business approved aged inventory leavers.
  • Data Integrity: Managing data integrity (inventory and merchandise) across the group.
  • Career Development: Accountable for self-growth and career development.
