The Strategic Partner Manager is key to Vocus' growth strategy, who enable us to acquire and add value to our customers. As a Strategic Partner Manager, you will build and maintain strong partnerships with a portfolio of national 'Strategic Partners', with the aim of retention and profitable growth of the portfolio.
Reporting directly to the Head of Indirect Channels and matrix to the Enterprise Sales leaders, you will play a national role to drive partner engagement in the identification, development and delivery of the best solutions which address the business challenges of the customer, drive growth and achieve key sales and profit metrics.
**Responsibilities**:
- Play an influential and advisory role into the Partners business, often engaging at the C-Suite level
- Acting as the key conduit for assigned partners, build strong relationships with all State Managers to drive partner engagement across all states
- Enablement of assigned partners including onboarding, partner training and required accreditation and contracts
- Communicate and upskill Partners on new products, sales tools and service offerings
- Partner with the sales team and Partners in the end to end Partner Solution sales process using Vocus' sales methodology
- Drive sales campaign and strategic initiatives with partners to identify opportunities for solution expansion, drive action plans and maximise sales
- Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners within assigned portfolio
- Support Account Managers with engagement and commercial negotiations with Partners.
- Develop a deep understanding of assigned Partner's solutions, products offerings to develop and implement partner sales strategy
- Analyse and explore business and market trends and stay updated about new technological developments and trends taking place in the industry
- Actively partner with assigned partners in the creation and execution of sales and business plans to meet sales objectives
- Conduct Annual Partner Portfolio Planning
- Conduct Quarterly Change objective planning with Partners
- Work with partners and sales teams to generate Vocus value propositions to the customer and solution outcomes which best address the customers' needs
- Coach and upskill the sales team and colleagues on Partner capabilities to continuously drive sales growth
- Act as the main point of contact for all Partner needs, ensuring that any partner related issues are resolved in a timely manner
**Skills**:
- 8-10 years' experience in a sales environment
- Expert at conflict resolutions
- Presentation & influencing skills
- Account and relationship management
- Business Planning
- Stakeholder management at Senior management level
- Some interstate travel from time to time (once every 4-8 weeks or so)
