The role of a Strategic HR Partner is crucial in driving organisational success. This position involves collaborating with key stakeholders to understand business requirements, workforce planning, capability development, and recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive strategic alignment and support the overall business objectives.
- Support high-level sourcing and selection processes, ensuring that the best talent is brought on board to drive organisational growth.
- Assist with onboarding, inductions, and probation procedures to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Provide expert advice and implement initiatives to stay up-to-date with legislative frameworks and best practices.
- Manage performance reviews and employee engagement strategies to enhance productivity and job satisfaction.
- Identify top talent, succession plan, and lead leadership development initiatives to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Lead case investigations, performance management, grievances, and disciplinary procedures to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
- Support industrial relations activities, including negotiation of enterprise agreements and contract reviews.
- Participate in organisational design, change management, and transformation activities to drive innovation and improvement.
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative data for reporting purposes to inform business decisions.
This Strategic HR Partner will possess qualifications and experience in HR, preferably in the mining and resources or heavy industrial sectors. They must be proactive business partners who collaborate effectively, influencing stakeholders with pragmatic solutions and a strong knowledge of employment legislation.
This position is offered on an 18-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their work.
