Job Title: Senior Strategic Partner
Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a Senior Strategic Partner to contribute to the development of national and regional community, diversity, and inclusion strategies, plans, and programs. These will include, but not limited to, community and stakeholder engagement, community partnerships, employment programs targeting under-represented groups, supplier diversity, inclusion, and respectful workplace programs.

About this Opportunity:
The successful candidate will draw on their expert project management, engagement, and influencing skills in order to collaborate and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders and provide specialist guidance to the business to achieve implementation and deliver strategic programs and outcomes. Key responsibilities include
  • Demonstrated experience gained in social performance related roles with operational exposure.
  • Commercial acumen/strengths in order to negotiate effectively with external suppliers in addition to procurement and operations.
  • Tender writing experience or similar, with strengths in communications (written and verbal) essential.
  • Desktop scoping and analysis experience with the ability to develop a strategic plan from bid phase through to operational execution
  • Ability to clearly articulate a strategic direction and plan.
  • Exposure to the mining, construction, and /or engineering industries highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in Human Resources, Stakeholder Engagement, Communications, or Corporate Affairs/Public Affairs delivering approved community and stakeholder engagement or diversity and inclusion plans
  • Strong project management experience with the intuitive ability to identify opportunities and areas for improvement whilst concurrently measuring ROI
  • Sound research and reporting skills

Requirements:
Our ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications and skills：
  • A strong background in community and stakeholder engagement, and/or diversity and inclusion.
  • Expertise in project management, preferably within a corporate affairs/public affairs context.
  • Proven commercial acumen and ability to negotiate effectively with external suppliers.
  • Strong desktop scoping and analysis skills, with the ability to develop strategic plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including tender writing experience.
  • Able to clearly articulate a strategic direction and plan.
