**About The Opportunity**

The purpose of this position is to coordinate day to day activities of the Integrity and Information Program and provide high quality advice and outcomes on all matters managed by the Program. Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Manage the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats associated with the Program to maximise staff wellbeing and productivity.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the strategic goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for the Program.
- Contribute your ideas and energy to support the development of the Branch Management Team.
- Manage information access requests (including assessments) in accordance with the Right to Information (RTI) Act and Information Privacy (IP) Act (including conducting or monitoring internal and external reviews).
- Manage other forms of information access such as law enforcement requests, subpoenas, notices of non-party disclosures, Evidence Act requests, and Discovery Orders).
- Assist in the management and/or investigation of integrity or administrative complaints, such as under the _Crime and Corruption Act 2001_, _Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010_, and _Human Rights Act 2019_.
- Assist in the maintenance of registers, procedure manuals, templates, tables, and workspaces for the Program.
- Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external clients by investigating and dealing with customer enquiries/complaints and referring to relevant staff members where appropriate.
- Monitor and maintain incoming tasks including allocation of requests and preparation of responses, and distribution of information to Officers where appropriate.
- Monitor workflows and allocation of work to Officers within the Integrity and Information Program and provide support or relief to Officers as required.
- Represent Council at networking meetings relating to information access legislation, privacy compliance, administrative review, and ethical matters
- Maintain contemporary professional knowledge of investigation processes, trends, and reporting, as well as any legal or policy developments.

Maintain comprehensive professional knowledge of changes in legislation and practice as related to the Integrity and Information Program.

Provide accurate and timely information and advice to customers, the Program Leader, Branch Managers, the Executive Leadership Team, and Council

**About You**
- Possession of Degree qualifications in Business and/or Law, or substantial demonstrated experience related to the role would be highly regarded.
- The Program coordinates three main focus areas being information access, integrity management (including complaints) and prevention. The majority of the activities within the program are. You will have:

- Demonstrated knowledge of the _Right to Information Act 2009_, _Information Privacy Act 2009_, _Local Government Act 2009_, _Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010_, Crime and Corruption Act 2001, _Ombudsman Act 2001_, _Human Rights Act 2019_ and associated codes, standards, and regulations.
- Highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills in a specialist technical environment.
- Specialist knowledge including the interpretation and implementation of complex administrative and integrity legislation.
- Knowledge of policies and procedures relating to the undertaking of investigations, including evidence gathering, interviews with parties, and case resolution.
- Producing complex reports, correspondence and briefing material for senior and executive management, and elected officials, with the knowledge and capability to convey complex issues in layman's terms.
