**The role**: As the Information Integrity Officer, you will have the responsibility to accurately and efficiently conduct data reconciliation and other information management duties to ensure the reliability and integrity of the information contained within the Queensland Master Patient Index.

**Other Key Responsibilities include**:

- Use analytical skills to review and investigate patient demographic data discrepancies.
- Assess and analyse data from multiple sources to ensure the integrity of the demographic data of Queensland Health patient records to support patient safety.
- Follow up on investigations and outstanding requests in a timely manner.
- Process reports daily to assist with assessing the accuracy and integrity of patient demographic data.

Are you right for this role?To be successful in this role you will have the ability to acquire knowledge of information management policies, standards and practice and their contribution of health service delivery as well as maintaining patient demographic data including tools and techniques to assist with analysing the integrity of data in the healthcare environment.
You will show ability to plan your duties/tasks, both individually and as a member of a work group to achieve team outcomes in the required timeframes.
