**Overview**
The **Women's & Children's Health Network** provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia. We are the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA's largest maternity and obstetric service.
Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.

**The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)** is a free community-based tertiary mental health service provided through the WCHN across South Australia, providing care to those with severe and/or complex mental health needs. CAMHS provides services to: infants / children / young people up to 18 (16 in some areas) for community, statewide and hospital-based services for perinatal women.
**The Opportunity**
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an **Aboriginal Social and Emotional Wellbeing Clinician **(RN2 / AHP2) or **Worker** (ASO5) to join CAMHS forensic service in a **fulltime**, **ongoing** capacity.
The CAMHS Aboriginal Social and Emotional Wellbeing Clinician or Worker - Forensic Services is responsible for ensuring optimal consumer care. Addressing cultural safety and undertaking culturally informed engagement, assessment, education/advocacy, counselling and group work are considered essential components of care which is directed towards consumer health and recovery. This involves ongoing consultation, liaison and co work with other CAMHS disciplines, government and non-government organisations.
This role will be providing services at the Youth Court, Kurlana Tapa Youth Justice Centre and will involve some afterhours work including Saturdays.
**About You**
For the RN2 Classification - you will need to be a Registered Nurse who holds a current practicing certificate (with at least 3 years full time post registration experience) and who has completed or is enrolled in a approved Mental Health Course.
For the AHP2 Classification - you will need to have an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives:
- Eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers or
- Recognition by the Psychology Board of Australia. Must hold general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and be endorsed for clinical practice. or
- Eligibility for registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
For the ASO5 Classification - you are not required to have any qualifications.
As the **Aboriginal Social Emotional Wellbeing Worker** (ASEWW), you will use your well-developed ability to integrate Aboriginal cultural experiences, philosophy and practice particularly as it relates to the provision of social and emotional/mental health services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children, young people and their families, and also your ability to communicate and work with other professionals, facilitate group functions and work as a team member.
