The Opportunity
The Transport Rail Lead - will be responsible for leading and managing a team of rail engineers and technical specialists to deliver rail projects in Victoria. Your primary duties will include overseeing the development and implementation of rail design and construction plans, managing project budgets and schedules, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
You will be:

- Building the resources and capability of the Victorian rail team to deliver successful outcomes for our clients
- Responsible for the Victorian rail team leadership and management of staff
- Driving project performance, service delivery and technical and commercial outcomes
- Providing sound and effective leadership on major rail projects by providing direction and technical advice
- Mentor and train others in the delivery of rail projects
- About You
- You will have a technical background, with Engineering or equivalent (preferably chartered status) with relevant rail experience in an engineering consultancy
- Demonstrated experience in delivering projects from proposal to completion
- Provide technical leadership, often in multi-disciplinary teams for planning, feasibility studies and detailed design project phases.
- Great interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people from many different disciplines in a dynamic environment.
