We are currently seeking a **Vendor Assurance Coordinator** to join our client's team in **Northeastern Victoria**. As the Vendor Assurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing vendor relationships and ensuring the quality and safety of raw and packaging materials. **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Vendor Management**: Approve vendors for food safety, quality, and GMP compliance
- **Defective Material Management**: Oversee the DCA/QP system, ensuring timely responses to non-conformances.
- **Raw Material Acceptance**: Assess and inspect raw materials, maintaining records in SAP
- **Audits**: Participate in internal audits and drive vendor audits, ensuring timely closure of CARs
- **Root Cause Analysis**: Conduct structured analysis for incidents related to quality failures
- **Training**: Deliver training on the Vendor Assurance process
- Tertiary qualification in Food Science or related field.
- Experience as a quality specialist, preferably with SAP experience.
- Knowledge of Vendor auditing, SAP-QM, and TPM is desirable.
- Familiarity with quality management systems.
- Strong focus on food safety and compliance.
