Job Opportunity

This is a key leadership role that will play a crucial part in developing and delivering an assurance program from the ground up.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and setting the pace and cadence for the Assurance team performing increased reviews including CPS 230, CPS231 and CPS234 compliance checks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Assurance team and set the tone for performance excellence
  • Identify gaps to enhance practice in current methodology and frameworks
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure strong understanding of the assurance program and seek feedback on improvement opportunities
  • Communicate and drive best practice and consistency across the enterprise specific to risk assessment activities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in vendor risk assurance preferably with technology risk management and/or internal audit expertise
  • Strong knowledge of control design, risk assessment and assurance methodologies
  • Experience in building a vendor assurance operating model with a global workforce
  • Strong stakeholder management skills including vendor engagement
  • Knowledge of relevant Prudential Standards (e.g. APRA CPS234 Information Security and CPS230 Operational Risk Management)
  • Knowledge of current global best practice and emerging thinking on Third Party Risk Management
