We are seeking a talented Software Engineering Manager to lead our efforts in making gaming on Ubuntu a first-class experience. In this exciting time for Linux gaming, we need someone with expertise in optimising and expanding the Ubuntu gaming experience.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of collaboration with upstream projects and partners, with a strong understanding of the Linux graphics stack. Excellent project management skills, including risk assessment and resource allocation, are essential. The role also requires exceptional technical leadership and effective team management skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Familiarity with the Linux graphics stack spanning user-space components to low-level kernel drivers.
Exceptional software project management skills encompassing risk assessment and resource allocation.
Ability to balance technical leadership with effective team management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
