**Job Title:** Software Engineering Leader

 

We're seeking an exceptional Software Engineering Leader to drive our team's success. As a key member of our Product Platform Group, you'll play a vital role in shaping the capabilities that power Canva's hundreds of microservices.

 

**About the Role:

As a Software Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing components that get used by hundreds of engineers to process billions of messages for our millions of users. Your expertise will contribute to the design and implementation of reliable, observable, and easy-to-reason-about components.

 

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and efficient software systems
  • Lead engineering teams to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality results
  • Collaborate with product partners to understand business requirements and develop solutions
  • Mentor and grow a team of talented engineers, fostering a safe, inclusive, high-performance culture
