**The role**

Reporting to the HSE Systems and Assurance Manager, the **Health and Safety Management Systems Advisor **will provide guidance for Adbri's Health and Safety Management systems, including the governance of Adbri standards through monitoring of legal compliance and the coordination of internal audit programs.

This position will work with internal and external stakeholders to drive a high level of systems compliance, for the purpose of maintaining HSE governance.

**This is a permanent full time position based in Stapylton, QLD**

**Responsibilities**
- Review and update of Health, Safety and Environment documents to an agreed schedule
- Assist in the coordination of Group HSE audit program
- Development and/or execution of HSE training programs
- Maintenance of HSE legal register
- Reporting of performance, trends and outcome
- Providing support, coaching and advice on Health, Safety and Environmental Management systems at all levels across Adbri

**What you will need to succeed**
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Management Systems or demonstratable experience in a similar management systems or governance role
- Ability to understand and interpret Health and Safety legislation and regulatory requirements
- Collaborative and consultative passion for driving continual business improvement at all levels of management within an organisation
- High level of attention to detail
- Resilience and tenacity
