Job Description

As the Health & Safety Adviser, you'll be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing WHS policies and procedures aligned with ISO 45001 standards.
  • Leading annual training programs and audits.
  • Advising senior leadership on risk management and compliance.
  • Managing incident investigations, reporting, and preventative strategies.
  • Maintaining robust systems and records to support accreditation and legislative requirements.

This role offers a unique blend of strategic influence and hands on administration, ideal for someone who thrives in both planning and execution.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Health And Safety Advisor Should Have

  • A qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Experience in implementing and managing workplace health and safety systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff at all levels.
  • Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and develop practical solutions.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • A passion for fostering a safe and compliant work environment.
