Reporting to the Group Health & Safety Manager, the Health and Safety Advisor will provide advice, guidance and support on Maas Group Civil project in Far North Queensland.
- Project based in Cloncurry (Far North Queensland)
- Accommodation and meals provided on site
- 14/7 continuous roster - with FIFO opportunities from Cairns, Townsville or Brisbane.
- $118.39 LAHA (tax-free living away from home allowance) paid daily.

**Key responsibilities**:

- The HS Advisor will lead safety improvements and opportunities.
- Completing the administration and implementation of KPI's, targets and processes of WHS and Environmental performance to be monitored on site and to the client requirements.
- Conducting safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance of relevant safety legislations.
- Identifying, recording, and reporting hazards, accidents, injuries, and health issues.
- Inspecting workplace and related tools and equipment to ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Ensuring all health and safety documentation is appropriately recorded and meets legislation requirements.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Relevant qualifications in Work Health and Safety.
- A minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills.
- Strong influencing skills and an ability to develop internal networks and trust with on-site teams
