We have partnered with a local organisation in the Brisbane bayside region. This organisation promotes a people-centric culture and works hard to provide opportunities to give back to the local community. Due to an employee movement, a 12-month contract position has become available for a Safety and Governance Advisor to join their tight-knit team.

**Your new role**

In this role, some key responsibilities will include:
- Working in collaboration within the team and with a wide range of employees regarding Health & Safety consultation- Providing technical advice around the health, wellbeing and safety management system- Providing high level advice around safety systems and practises- Participate in the reporting and investigations of incidents- Management and continuous development of the health, wellbeing and safety management system

**What you'll need to succeed**

Key skills and qualifications required to be considered for this role include:
- Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety - Diploma level and above- Practical experience working at a Coordinator or Advisory level within a Health and Safety role across complex workforces- The ability to engage, consultant and influence within the Health & Safety space- Expert stakeholder engagement skills
