What You'll Do
We are seeking an experienced Guest Service Agent who is passionate about the hospitality industry to join our team full-time.
The ideal candidate will be committed to long-term growth and eager to build a rewarding career with us.
You will provide an exceptional experience to our guests from reservation and throughout their stay, creating lifetime memories.
This full-time role primarily involves afternoon and evening shifts, typically rostered between 3pm and 11pm.
On a daily basis you will:
Complete reception tasks such as taking bookings, preparing invoices, checking guests in and out
Answer phone and email enquiries promptly and professionally
Communicate with other departments to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals or to ensure guest needs are met
Complete end-of-day procedures, including accurate financial reconciliation and reporting
What You'll Bring
Strong Guest Service experience with sound knowledge of NewBook, RoomMaster, Opera or a similar booking system
A reputation for providing excellent customer service, engaging in great conversations with our guests
A vibrant attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
Certificate II in Hospitality (Operations) or equivalent experience
Demonstrated financial acumen, including responsibility for cash handling and reconciliation as part of daily operational duties
Problem solving skills including the ability to apply mathematical skills in a workplace context
Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
Possess a Do Food Safely Certificate of completion
Flexibility to work across other areas of the business if required
