About the role
- Deliver continuous improvement of clinical governance systems, education programs and clinical practice to support Best Care responses to all patients.
- Undertake portfolio work as a member of the leadership team with a focus on clinical quality of care, clinical practice standards and clinical governance systems.
- Provide clinical escalation support to Triage Practitioners to ensure Best Care outcomes and experience.
- Design, facilitate and conduct clinical triage training, coaching and skill development to support staff to improve skills and capabilities and meet credentialing requirements.
- Conduct appropriately structured evaluations and reviews against organisational frameworks and standards.
- Investigate and make clinical improvement recommendations to the Manager Clinical Triage.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure high standards of clinical triage in line with Best Care and prescribed KPIs.

About you
Suited to a highly motivated and innovative individual, the successful applicant will possess:

- Current Aphra registered Paramedic or Division 1 Registered Nurse.
- Experience as a focused clinical leader with training and clinical improvement experience.
- Demonstrated contemporary clinical knowledge and skills.
- High level understanding of Secondary Triage practices and the holistic health system approach to the development and supplementation of health pathways.
- Interpersonal and influencing skills to gain the acceptance and support of ideas, cooperation of others, and the ability to modify styles and techniques to accommodate tasks, situations and individuals.
- Well-developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- An ability to gain and/or maintain credentialing as an AV Triage Practitioner.
- Valid Victorian Drivers Licence.
