Overview
Clinical Triage Role (Paediatric Community Health) at DPV Health.
This is a fixed-term, 0.4 EFT (15.2 hours per week), Tuesday to Friday (flexible).
The role focuses on establishing a paediatric clinical triage process to respond to waitlists and to better meet the needs of families.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical triage for complex referrals to the Child Health Team (Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy).
Contribute to implementing and evaluating a 12-month clinical triage initiative to improve waitlist management and family outcomes.
Utilise clinical skills to assess and triage referrals, including face-to-face assessments and group sessions as required.
Collaborate with a highly professional, multidisciplinary team that values kindness and collaboration.
Support the development of paediatric triage processes to ensure timely and appropriate care.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
Eligibility to hold and maintain membership with Speech Pathology Australia or AHPRA.
Demonstrated experience as a paediatric Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist providing assessment and intervention.
