We are currently seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Clinical Triage Specialist.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide clinical triage support for complex referrals to the Child Health Team, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes for families.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities- Clinical Triage: Provide expert clinical triage support for complex referrals, prioritizing cases based on urgency and clinical need.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Child Health Team, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive improved patient outcomes.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to reduce waitlists and streamline clinical pathways.
- Qualifications: Bachelor of Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy, or equivalent qualification.
- Registration: Eligibility to hold and maintain membership with relevant professional bodies (e.g. Speech Pathology Australia / AHPRA).
- Experience: Demonstrated experience working as a Paediatric Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist, providing assessment and intervention services.
