Halliday Wine Companion is the leading authority on Australian wine. Encompassing an engaged digital subscriber base, Australia's bestselling wine magazine, an award-winning website, monthly Wine Club and regular events, Halliday ensures that our community never drinks a bad bottle of wine again.
We now have an outstanding opportunity within the Halliday team for a savvy, proactive and creative senior sales manager. This position is responsible for securing advertising and sponsorship opportunities via across all media assets (print, digital, sponsorship, and future developments).
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the media Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in achieving advertising targets by creating bespoke, cross-selling proposals for clients in industries including wine, travel, hospitality and retail.
**Responsibilities include** (but are not limited to):
- Developing and executing strategic sales plans to secure advertising partnerships across all Halliday media assets to achieve advertising and sponosrship revenue targets- Independently creating and presenting customised client proposals- Cultivating strong and lasting relationships with existing and prospective Halliday advertising partners, ensuring a regular virtual and in-person call cycle- Overseeing commercial activities within a designated client area- Collaboration with internal teams (Content, Marketing, Product, Design) to ensure successful campaign execution- Preparing campaign analysis reports and presentations- Partner with the Commercial Director to identify and develop new revenue streams, ongoing.
