We are currently seeking a highly organised, enthusiastic and well presented Village Administrator to provide support to the team at Bethanie on the Park Retirement Village, located in Menora. Bethanie on the Park is centrally located with both villa and apartment accommodation options, as well as a dedicated Chef providing meals in an on site dining room.
This role is dynamic and comes with different challenges and opportunities, therefore we are looking for a 'go getter' with a passion for customer service. You will have well developed administration skills along with a genuine interest in the aged care industry.
The Village Administrator provides support to the Village Manager in the day to day operational activities of the village and is a key point of contact for our residents.
This role is offered on an initial twelve month fixed term basis to cover a period of parental leave, working full time hours across Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.
**About You**
- Demonstrated experience within a busy administrative position, ideally in an aged care or retirement living environment
- High level of attention to detail, with the ability to learn new processes and software quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
**The Role**
- Provide a high level of customer service to residents, visitors and contractors
- Actively contribute to the development of a community culture within the village
- Respectful and effective management of complaints, compliments and suggestions
- Liaising between residents and contractors as required
- Assist with all aspects of prospective and incoming residents
- Raise all purchase order requisitions and liaise with suppliers
- Supporting the Village Manager in preparing budgets, monthly reporting, coordinating services and managing village matters
- Coordinate with residents and social committee on various items, including arranging catering for functions and distribution of communications such as newsletter
- Other reception and general administrative duties as required
