Well-established, "for purpose" organisation
- Central Sydney CBD location, remuneration $80kpa + super is indicative
- Flexibility required (occasional early morning/evening work required)
We're seeking a pro-active, mature-minded events professional, to "take the reins" and coordinate regular online and in-person events as part of our support for small businesses.
Your ability to operate independently, combined with your quiet confidence and ability to handle pressure will help you hit the ground running and start making an immediate impact. You'll likely also have the opportunity to contribute to general marketing tasks and other initiatives designed to raise the profile of Realise Business and, crucially, ensure and enhance the engagement of the clients and members we serve.
If you love events management, enjoy working independently and thrive in a challenging and fast-paced role, this could well be the opportunity you've been looking for

We also offer:
- A small, professional team dedicated to supporting the local business community
- A supportive team environment, with real opportunities for personal and professional growth
- Modern offices located in the Sydney CBD
- Opportunity to utilise your events management experience, and also be involved in general marketing and other business growth activities.
**About you**
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to confidently communicate with and present to people at all levels
- Professional presentation and demonstrated ability to build and maintain constructive business relationships
- Excellent time management/organisation skills including ability to prioritise, work to deadlines and pay attention to detail
- A strong customer service orientation
- Capacity to work autonomously, and collaboratively within a small team
- Intermediate to advanced level of skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel, plus experience using website CMS platforms (such as WordPress)
- Experience using social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
Note that a willingness and availability to undertake occasional work outside of standard office hours is also a requirement of this role.
