
Senior Claims Consultant

This role will be based in Perth.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.We will count on you to:Triage all new claims received daily and distribute them according to established processes and protocolsUndertake technical claims administration including gathering information, claim investigation and determination, drafting correspondence, instructing and managing external legal providers when necessary, calculating settlements and processing payments with the support of the General Claims ManagerAppearing on behalf of local governments in minor case claims when necessaryIdentify and pursue opportunities for risk advice and timely claim resolution to achieve effective financial outcomesBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide onsite client servicing as requiredWhat you need to have:Confident communication and professional interpersonal skillsExperience in claims consulting or related claims management rolesAbility to work effectively within a team environmentSkills in data analysis and claims managementAdvocacy and negotiating skillsWhat makes you stand out:Familiarity with claims management and reporting systemsAbility to deliver client service results and recommendations onsiteA legal background/training would be advantageousWhy join our team:Hybrid working model supporting work-life balanceOpportunity to work with a leading public sector insurance portfolioCollaborative and supportive team environmentProfessional development and career growth opportunitiesMarsh, a business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC), is the world's top insurance broker and risk advisor.
