About the Job
Following a period of sustained growth, we are seeking an experienced, customer focused individual to join the team as a Claims Consultant on a permanent full-time basis. Based in our Midland WA office, you will be part of a close-knit team supporting our Insurance Brokers/Account Managers and clients in their times of need. As Claims Consultant, you will:
- Manage end-to-end claims processes, including lodgment, analysis, and settlements.
- Deliver excellent service for clients and suppliers, by providing timely and accurate updates over the phone and e-mail.
- Resolving claims in an effective and efficient manner while complying with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Maintain an active and effective diary system for allocated claims.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including clients, brokers, service providers, and insurers.
- Actively identify and support the management of complaints and breaches in line with company processes and codes of practice.
- Identify and escalate opportunities for continuous improvement.
About you
As the ideal candidate, you will be a confident and engaging individual looking to build your career in the Insurance Industry. In addition, you will bring with you:
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualification in Insurance Broking (essential).
- Experience within the insurance industry, ideally with exposure to claims management across a broad range of products including workers compensation (essential).
- A passion for building and maintaining effective relationships with a diverse range of customers.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills.
- A strong attention to the details with a knack for using technology and systems.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or collaboratively based on the situation at hand.
- A willingness to learn and to support others around you.
