- Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior management on complex issues related to innovation in Queensland, including the preparation and oversight of submissions, briefs and correspondence.

- Remains calm under pressure and in stressful situations, responding positively to challenges.
- Undertake and lead the management of financial agreements and service delivery for startup and scaleup programs, including the satisfactory resolution of complex and emerging issues.
- Analyses, interprets and solves difficult problems, engaging team and management input to provide accurate and timely solutions.
- High level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to liaise, consult and maintain positive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

- Oversee and manage financial incentive agreements by leading negotiations, setting clear deliverables and actively managing relationships (Accountability).
