Safe Food Production Queensland (Safe Food) regulates and operates in accordance with the Food Production (Safety) Act 2000 and reports to the Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries. As the statutory body responsible for regulating food safety in Queensland's food production and processing sectors, Safe Food provides confidence that food produced in Queensland is safe through innovative and effective regulation that supports industry growth.Safe Food's core business is the development and implementation of food safety policy and standards through outcomes-focused Food Safety Schemes for the meat, dairy, egg, seafood and horticulture (seed sprouts) sectors. Our collaborative approach to food regulation ensures that:

- Safe Food is a responsive Queensland Government agency that continually innovates to improve its regulatory model,
- Queensland's food production and processing sectors are provided with easy-to-use services that reduce regulatory burden, while ensuring food safety regulatory requirements are satisfied, and
- Ideas are generated to support food businesses, inform a holistic approach to regulation and are responsive to national policy initiatives.

Safe Food's vision is to be the trusted authority for food safety.Through its science and risk-based regulatory framework, Safe Food focuses on influencing behaviour as an important element of sustaining compliance. This gives consumers confidence and facilitates an environment that sustains economic growth.Your key responsibilities and duties:

- Implement strategies to effect change to develop a future-ready workforce that is high performing and agile, adaptive, resilient, and innovative to meet the agencies and industry challenges. This will include initiatives that positively impact on employee experience as Safe Food build that upon our employee value proposition.
- Provide strategic and tactical input from a people and culture perspective into organisational design initiatives to ensure alignment with the strategic objectives and contemporary industry practices.
- Provide change management advice and support on complex organisational workplace change and transformation activities, including impact assessments, stakeholder readiness analysis and workforce engagement plans.
- Support the development of a safe, respectful and high-performance culture by working closely with leaders and participating in workplace initiatives.
- Coach managers and employees on HR policies and processes, recommending solutions aligned to HR strategic direction
