Aurelia Metals Limited is an Australian gold and base metals mining and exploration company.
We own and operate two underground mines and processing facility in New South Wales and have an enviable portfolio of organic growth prospects in the region.About the roleWe are looking for a skilled Jumbo Operator to join our team, responsible for performing development drilling and ground support activities to meet the Mine Plan.
The role includes ore driving, cross cutting, and capital development tasks in both incline and decline operations.
Reporting to the Mining Supervisor, the successful candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and effective drilling and ground support installation, contributing to the overall success of the mining operation.Roster : 7 / 7 or 14 / 14 (Day & Night Shift)Location : Peak Mine - Cobar NSWTravel Options : Resident, DIDO & FIFOResidents embrace our community and settle into family friendly township of Cobar with our company housing at discounted rates and further enhance your savings through salary sacrifice.Relocation Support we offer relocation support of up to $10,000 for those wanting to live locally in Cobar.DIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site, you receive a travel allowance.FIFO from Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.Qualifications and experienceEssentialAt least 2 years of experience as a Jumbo Operator.Experience in Development Charge Up operations.Minimum of 7 years relevant underground mining experience.Hold a current driver's license.Security Clearance (UHL).
