Job Title: Heavy Duty Machinery Operator

We are seeking skilled heavy duty machinery operators who have significant experience operating Jumbo machines to support our vision of continued growth and ongoing operation of a major mining facility.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operating heavy equipment to scale face, drill holes for ground support
  • Bolt, mesh and bore multiple headings per shift to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Decline, incline and level development using specialized machinery
  • Installing ground support as per established standards and requirements
  • Read and interpret detailed instructions and plans
  • Keeping accurate records of activities in accordance with established procedures
  • Directing and coordinating team members to maximize production in a safe and efficient manner

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A manual driver's license
  • Experience operating heavy machinery such as Jumbos
  • First aid certificate - Desirable
  • Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery and techniques
  • An unwavering commitment to safety protocols
  • A willingness to work collaboratively as a team and support the organization's values
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • A willingness to undergo Pre-Employment Medical and D&A Screen
  • A willingness to undergo Pre-Employment Background checks
  • Previous experience in heavy machinery operation is essential
