Underground Mining Specialist

Seeking a skilled and motivated Underground Nipper Operator to support Jumbo Operators by setting up headings, preparing work areas for drilling and ground support.

The ideal candidate will assist with the installation of bolts and mesh to ensure ground stability, help minimize equipment downtime by assisting with basic repairs and maintenance on Jumbo rigs, manage the delivery and installation of ground support consumables, accurately record shift data and reports, communicate clearly with the Shift Boss and crew.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to a safe and efficient underground mining operation.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience as a Nipper in underground mining, ideally supporting Jumbo operations. You should also be physically fit, able to work in challenging environments, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
