Our team will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Tritton. We're looking for experienced Jumbo Operators to support underground mining operations.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to operate a jumbo to achieve site goals and objectives in a safe and efficient manner. The primary purpose is to advance lateral development headings in preparation for production activities and mine infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carry out development drilling in accordance with survey and geological controls.
  • Drilling and charging activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Install ground support as per Ground Support Standards.
  • Inspect work areas to identify hazards and implement corrective measures accordingly.
  • Participate in shift changeover activities; and Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures at all times.
What You Bring

You'll need to demonstrate competence in operating the jumbo drill and installation of ground support. You should be able to meet productivity standards and read ground conditions and drill designs.

You'll also need to demonstrate an ability to undertake daily servicing and routine maintenance of the jumbo, along with good overall work performance and positive attitude to HSE and equipment care.
