Your job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Organise the unloading and loading of cargo into containers, and cargo trucks etc.
Coordinate the collection and delivery of goods.
To work with Warehouse Manager in relation to receiving and dispatching of containers
To report to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager any damage to the cargo.
Check and Inspect import freight.
Inspect and label export freight.
Identify and report any unsafe work practices.
Deal with clients and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
Organise Port Pickups.
Update Expedient Outturn, LCL, plus Hellogic milestones (Underbond and FAK).
Organise interstate underbond movements.
Print Cartage Notes.
Check Expedient customs status.
Print release documents from Expedient.
Add location details.
Take responsibility for P&G Bagtrans bookings.
Pick up of fleet or courier.
Planning runs (cut off time).
Planning exceptions.
Take responsibility for Customer Import deliveries.
To ensure that all equipment is in working order and does not require attention.
Schedule maintenance and repairs.
Daily checklists.
Schedule cleaning.
Schedule inspections for registrations.
Enter Chep and Loscam dockets.
Ensure monthly counts are conducted as per schedule.
AQIS Audit and inspection compliance and co-ordination
Organise customer specific orders and communication with customers
Take on other duties as may be specified by Warehouse Manager.
Inspect and review warehousing and distribution freight where applicable.
Warehousing and distribution inventory updating where applicable.
Take appropriate corrective action to prevent recurrence of non-conformances.
