About the division and team

We have a clear strategy and important work in place to become Australia's bank of choice.

The Business and Agribusiness division brings together our specialist Rural and Business lending capability.

Within this Division, our Business Customer operating model has been reshaped and we have brought together our equipment finance, trade, foreign exchange, transactional banking and interest rate risk management specialists to form the Specialist Sales team. This team oversees the Bendigo Bank and Rural Bank Product Channels for both business and agribusiness customers, ensuring the business remains competitive whilst achieving its stated income target.

About the role

The Head of Specialist Sales is a newly created position reporting to the General Manager, Specialist Segments. In this role you will own the Specialist Sales Lending strategy and lead a national team of 13 highly skilled specialist Relationship Managers.

**Key focuses will be to**:
Deliver against revenue and growth targets in line with Business strategy
Ensure alignment of team to the business strategy, set the team strategy and develop the operational and reporting requirements that support the delivery
Build a sales culture through leadership and coaching

This is a full-time, permanent position to be based in either Melbourne or Sydney, noting that hybrid ways of working are core to how we operate today.

About you

We are looking for an industry professional with a detailed knowledge of the customer needs across all or some of the specialist product range (equipment finance, trade, foreign exchange, transactional banking and interest rate risk management)

You have the ability to tap into what motivates people and inspire them to achieve outcomes; leading and coaching with a performance focus; establishing a culture built on accountability and achieving outcomes in a way that is true our values.
