**Your new role**

This is a permanent full-time position based in the CBD and an immediate start is available. For this role you will need to be a permanent resident or citizen with the ability to obtain a National Police clearance. The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for effectively supervising and coordinating the day-to-day activities of warehouse and distribution employees. Duties will include but won't be limited to;
- Determining work requirements and allocate duties to Warehouse employees.
- Liaising with the Warehouse Manager to organise effective receipt, storage and dispatch of stock.
- Ensuring customer requirements with respect to delivery, time and quantity are met by directing and controlling the distribution operations.
- Minimising the cost of transport operation by analysing and implementing procedures that result in optimal fleet utilisation.
- Operating and maintaining a warehouse management system to ensure seamless tracking of stock.
- Responsible for implementing a principle driven health and safety culture that cares for employees and ensures their safety in line with company policy.
- Ensuring work health and safety policies are adhered to by all warehouse employees.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- You're a permanent resident or citizen with the ability to obtain a National Police clearance.
- 3-5 years in a warehouse / distribution / logistics environment.
- Proven experience leading teams.
- Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You'll be a team player.
