We are seeking a seasoned engineering professional to contribute to the delivery of complex water infrastructure projects across Australia.
The successful candidate will play a key role in feasibility studies, design, construction, and asset management, collaborating with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer looking to work on high-impact projects and mentor the next generation of engineers.
Based in one of our multiple offices across Australia, you will have the flexibility to base yourself where you feel most productive and collaborate with our industry-leading Dams team.
Key Responsibilities:
Structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways, and appurtenant structures
Conceptual to detailed design of dams and structural components of dams
Inspection, investigation, and condition assessment of existing dams
Construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data, and construction reporting
Preparation of tenders and proposals and providing mentoring
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline
Demonstrated capability in structural design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings, and specifications, ideally within the dam industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A positive attitude and a willingness to see challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate, and grow
