We are seeking an experienced Technical Director or Senior for our Dams team to deliver engineering, design and dam safety services.
Main Responsibilities:- To provide technical leadership in the design of gates, regulating structures, outlet works, valves, fish screens and other mechanical aspects of water storage dam infrastructure.
- To develop sustainable capability in our Australia-based team and globally through mentoring and collaboration.
- To lead delivery of quality technical solutions and successful project outcomes that satisfy clients' needs.
- To participate in client relationship management, business development and proposal preparation.
Key Qualifications:
- Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in the mechanical engineering aspects of water storage dams.
- Experience in all project phases, including project identification, feasibility studies and detailed design.
- A minimum of 15 years' experience in a consulting environment, specifically in the design and specification of gates, hoists, outlet works, trash racks and screens, fishways, pipe work, valves and other mechanical equipment associated with dams.
- Hydropower experience will also be looked on favorably.

- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in mechanical engineering.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams towards achieving project goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects and building strong client relationships.
