Key Project Role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to work closely with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions and mentor the next generation of engineers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways and appurtenant structures
  • Develop conceptual to detailed designs of dams and structural components of dams
  • Perform inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams
  • Provide construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data and construction reporting
  • Prepare tenders and proposals & provide mentoring
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated capability in structural design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications, ideally within the dam industry
  • A positive attitude and ability to see challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate and grow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline (essential)
