We are looking for an Account Manager (Video and Podcast) to manage the creation of high-quality, social-first content and podcasts that grow our clients' audiences. This person will work with our clients to lead the creation, production, and publishing of content across platforms, with a strong focus on video and podcasts. You will work directly with clients to create social-first content that amplifies their brand. This is a client-facing role where you'll collaborate with our internal production team to deliver compelling content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and various podcast platforms. It is not a hands-on editing role.

About the role
Wavelength is on the hunt for an
Account Manager (Video and Podcast)
with a strong focus on social media, video, and podcasting. You should be organised, client-focused, and thrive on managing relationships, keeping projects on track, briefing editors, and ensuring outputs meet deadlines and quality standards. This is a client-facing role where you'll work directly with clients and also collaborate with our internal production team to deliver content.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of how content performs across different platforms and be confident overseeing both long-form and short-form production workflows. Experience working directly with clients and managing end-to-end production is essential. This is not an editing role; you'll manage the client relationship and production process end-to-end, ensuring smooth delivery and high-quality results.

Responsibilities
Client management
Lead client conversations around content development, ensuring deliverables align with objectives
Provide input on content formats and campaign ideas to help clients achieve growth goals
Manage content calendars and delivery schedules with clients, ensuring clear expectations and timelines
Oversee production planning and client communications, ensuring content is delivered on time and to high quality
Develop and present reports that analyse performance to inform future content decisions
Production oversight
Own the planning, briefing, and delivery of high-quality content (videos and podcasts) with clear direction and deadlines for editors and designers
Brief editors on repurposing long-form podcasts into short-form social content
Review and provide feedback on video and podcast content before release
Collaborate with producers and editors to provide feedback on edits to improve them before release
Quality assurance review before each post
Ensure all content meets creative and technical standards
Develop social-first creative concepts to amplify client brands
Write copy for captions, titles, and hooks
Stay across platform trends and recommend new creative approaches
Other relevant tasks as required
Qualifications
At least 3 years' experience in account management or client management, ideally within content, media, or creative production
Experience managing clients through the production process and keeping projects on track
Ability to act as a trusted partner to ensure smooth, effective content delivery
End-to-end project management experience from client conversations to briefing, QA, and delivery (not hands-on editing)
Keen eye for trends and ability to tailor content for each platform
Extensive project management experience on creative campaigns
Passion for working directly with clients on projects
Understanding of what makes content engaging and ability to spot attention-grabbing ideas
Ability to write sharp, engaging copy for social media
Proficiency with online collaboration tools (e.g., Google Drive, Slack)
