**Position Summary**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Excellence (ME) Coordinator to join our team at the Allen's Broadford Factory.
The Manufacturing Excellence Coordinator drives autonomy development in the factory towards manufacturing excellence by leveraging best in practices and key initiatives to contribute to the factory results in a continuous and sustainable manner. Will supports the Factory and Local leadership Team(s) to develop the Safety and Quality Culture and conditions for a Safe and compliant working Environment.
**A day in the life**:
Reporting to the Factory Manager, key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Strategic plan development and management in the Factory.
- Ensures the right cascading of priorities and measures from the Market to the factory.
- Defines and embeds Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) projects and initiatives into the Factory objectives and align Factory Leadership Team towards the plan
- Establishes Factory governance to ensure that NCE implementation contributes to deliver business results. Prioritize the improvement efforts based on loss analysis
- Owns and drives the factory capacity plan for the next 5 years with the best cost and service level.
- Facilitates in translating the Market priorities and functional priorities into the Factory OMP.
- Supports Factory competency building plan that ensures NCE is developing autonomy at all levels of the organization (NCE methodologies, Value Added Activities, Workload studies, etc.)
- Conducts, sponsors and/or coaches specific projects to support results improvement around priorities established by the Factory.
- Provides hands-on support to the Local Leadership Teams and Local Operating Teams to accelerate improvement of results (coach by doing with the factory).
- Understands and ensures together with Factory Cost controller an overall competence of Costing Standards for Manufacturing.
- Links with Market Excellence manager within a Market/Category to drive NCE in manufacturing.

- Tertiary Qualified in Food Science / Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience training and coaching of Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Previous experience and familiarity working with SAP preferred.
- Clear and effective communication skills are essential.
- Experience in stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- The right person must be proactive, thorough, and detailed, with a high level of relationship building.
- You are a problem solver, proactive and strong in implementing sustainable solutions to address business needs and/or issues.
