This position reports to the Vice President Sales - ANZ Region and is located in Perth CBD with frequent travel to client sites and other Wabtec offices.What we offerPermanent Full Time positionGenerous Sales Incentive Performance BonusDiscounted health insurance with MedibankNovated Leasing optionsLifestyle discounts with Woolworths, Coles, Avis, JB Hi-Fi and 500+ other retailersAccess to our Employee Assistance ProgramResponsibilitiesCultivate and grow a robust sales pipeline and consistently surpass order and revenue targets for assigned key accountsImplement a unified Wabtec strategy for the accountsDevelop and execute strategic account plans for assigned key accounts across all Wabtec Business unitsDevelop marketing, sales and strategic business plans and deliver assigned annual orders, revenue, and Wabtec strategic objectivesIntegrate Wabtec support functions into the customer engagement strategy to enhance customer experience and ensure compliance with policiesFoster and maintain strong relationships with key accounts across departmentsUnderstand the One Wabtec portfolio and identify new business opportunities within assigned accountsMonitor and analyse sales performance, provide progress reports and forecastsCollaborate with cross-functional teams for a cohesive One Wabtec approachAddress and resolve client concerns with various Wabtec unitsMaintain understanding of industry trends and client needs to position Wabtec for growthEnsure client satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional serviceRepresent the company at industry events and networking opportunitiesCollaborate with product management to tailor offerings for key accountsProvide feedback to internal teams to optimize offerings and customer experienceComply with Wabtec Business Conduct GuidelinesComplete all assigned education/training modulesQualificationsYou must haveMinimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as STEM, Business, Commerce or equivalent10+ years' experience working in the Rail industryProven experience in commercial roles including product management or direct selling, with a successful growth track record and margin retentionRailroad products, services, industry knowledge and technical depth; ability to adapt to changing business conditionsCompetitive drive, courage, determination and passionCommunication, influence and negotiation skillsWillingness to learn, share, grow and seek commercial excellenceYou would love it if you haveExpertise in establishing value/price offers with differentiated products and services; knowledge of market segmentation and analysis to understand customer buying behaviorAbility to navigate a matrix-based organization with multiple reporting lines, offshore and onshoreBackground in Rail Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM)About WabtecWabtec Corporation is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services for freight and transit rail, as well as mining, marine, and industrial markets.
