Onboarding Specialist

Position Description
Sync Lift Engineering are expanding, and we are growing our team in the Gladstone head office.
We are seeking an experienced Onboarding Specialist to join the team and help grow our talent acquisition efforts, ensuring we attract, hire, and retain top industry talent.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the deployment of our employees to sites by managing the induction, accommodation and medical requirements.
Maintain employee qualifications, credentials and employment records both in client & Sync Lift Engineering data systems.
Work closely with accommodation providers and medical providers to book services.
Conduct thorough candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Collaborate with hiring managers & recruiters to understand the various site and project requirements.
Collaborate with the HR and Operations team to continuously improve recruitment and onboarding policies, procedures, and documentation.
About you
Minimum 2 year's experience in HR onboarding, site mobilisation, people coordination or equivalent role.
Understanding or experience with qualification, training and accreditation documents or willing to learn quickly.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines while thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word, Excel, PDF and Teams. Previous experience with Employment Hero is desirable.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing priorities.
