Job Description:

As a Valve Specialist Supervisor, you will be accountable for overseeing all valve maintenance activities ensuring they are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. Your primary responsibility is to lead a team of technicians, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with project managers and clients. You must promote a strong safety culture within the team and ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) procedures.



Responsibilities:
  • Supervise workshop activities to optimize productivity, quality standards, and accurate documentation.
  • Oversee administrative tasks including timesheets, procurement, quoting, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) documentation.
  • Maintain audit readiness and ensure compliance with relevant accreditation standards.
  • Coordinate equipment, personnel, and job execution in collaboration with internal teams and clients.
  • Lead and support staff performance, training, and onboarding of new personnel.
  • Provide technical support for valve inspections, testing, recertification, and optimisation.

Requirements:
  • 5 years experience in the Oil and Gas, Power, or Petrochemical industries.
  • Solid knowledge of hydrostatic/gas testing of valves and piping systems.
  • Solid knowledge of repairing, maintaining, and testing mechanical and pressure safety valves or similarly related equipment.
  • Sound understanding of Electric, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Actuators and systems.
